A documentary about Budludzha Monument in Bulgaria, amongst other weird, awful, & abandoned monuments/buildings that are dotted around the world in rather unlikely yet useless locations.

They just announced a second series of that show is in the works. Haven't seen it myself, but I thought you might be interested.

A program about the Spanish Civil War - something I know pitifully little about, TBH.
A dress rehearsal for WW2 is all I'm really aware of.

Star Trek Discovery

They seem to spend most of the episodes asking how each other is feeling, with 5 mins of peril inbetween.

It's got worse every series. Sad.

I think I'm out.

Hmmm.... apparently they were a Communist organization. Why am I not surprised?
Well, thanks anyway for the heads-up, my little red-shirted comrade. (y)

Politics aside, 2300 Brits, men and women thought it important enough to leave their families to fight the Nazis in another country and 500 hundred of them didn't come back. Did anyone learn about that in school?

"It's not part of our syllabus.."
I remember asking about it.... purely because I knew nothing about it, and my Dad knew a lass who was a Spanish refugee.

Man U v Arsenal.

Arsenal just scored with the Utd keeper on the floor with his back to the play after one of his own
Players stood on his foot.

Goal stands. Couldn’t have happened to a better team :D
