Today is mine and my partners anniversary 9 years of being together! So we are off ice skating and having a meal out. We might go cinema as well but we are unsure of what's on yet!

I was 19 at the time. I had broke it off with my last GF and was enjoying single life but this girl (my partner) stuck around through the thick and thin regardless of what I was doing (dating, drinking, stuff a young lad generally does) and was always there ready to have a laugh or just chill I decided months later that I should just ask this girl out and she said yes! It was like an early birthday pressie!!

Got to take the lad to get new rugby boots for school, it was on the agenda for yesterday afternoon - but that went down the dunny when we had to go to the hossie.

Then light the fire, eat a roast dinner and admire how crap the day looks outside whilst enjoying a hot black coffee.

Today I'm off out to look at new guitars....which means I'll um & arr a lot and then decide the ones I have are just fine, like they have been for the past 26 years.
Supposed to meet up with my old bass player too. On a scale of 1 to 10 she's about an 8...a guy could do worse.

Nothing. Wife and the kids are off to our friends farm but I can't face the car journey, so boring house stuff for me, like ironing.

Sod all, full on house clean, ironing shirts, light exercise (back still sore) but I have had work on it so healing process continues.

Run this morning, followed by helping a neighbor move a bed. Then hovered the house, now looking forward to a meal with the old man, my brother and brother-in-law.

After that I an supposed to be cleaning the Guinea pig cages and the commuting machine, but that will heavily depend on the number of lunch time beers consumed

Preparing a presentation for my English class on Wednesday, 'Should marijuana be legalised?'. It's only a 5 minute presentation so might just not bother doing this now and waffle. I think I'm being assessed on my English speaking ability and not the content as much.

Getting my over 40's health check today (i know - unbelievable isn't it )

Apparently i'm very good in all aspects. My heart rate was up a bit but i think that was the lovely blonde nurse lady

Had a productive meeting with my boss. He's told me what's going on, which makes a lot of sense. Now I know what the gameplan is I feel a bit more settled but I need to see it in action before I'm convinced.
