Very similar day minus the Archery which sounds amazing. Have fun Deegee Family and if mini Gee is a good shot maybe some venison for tea as a bonus

Well we found Bambi and although we didn't have our own bow and arrow, fortunately they are doing a nice venison stew in the restaurant, which after a nice brisk walk round the estate is very welcome.

Matlock Bath for fish and chips on the bike. Unsurprisingly I'm the only idiot here on a bike.
Very sunny, roads a bit greasy and was doing fine until I hit the freezing fog.

Today I washed and hoovered the car. Looking good now but won't stay like that for very long! I'm. Fed up of this weather I want the summer back

Being a proud father and going to the charity shop.
We buy extra presents every year and donate them to a local radio station which distributes them to less fortunate children. Our kids know this and get involved.
What made me proud today is both lads approached me and the missus this morning of their own free will and said they would like to give away some of their own presents to less fortunate children so we are off to the local charity shop.
Made me smile and made me feel proud of the two little men Well done boys.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Had a bloke round today to check the damp levels in the house before repair work can get started.
Apparently one wall is still soaking, now we have 1 industrial dehumidifier and are waiting for a second to be delivered and loads of the hall and lounge ripped of to get it dry.

Have had the luxury of a lazy day, spent in a large part reading Sue Perkins memoir, hilarious and at times heart breaking. Good book though, made even better whilst sipping my way through a couple of large G&T's.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Well yesterday... finally made it away camping
Then 2 hours away realised I'd left a mains powered mossie coil plugged in. Paranoid that it was going to overheat and burnt the house down I rang a trusted locksmith I know and got him to break in and turn it off. $160 later!
Got to the farm we were camping at, and drove around for a while looking for a spot and discovered this
Jess and I didn't get into bed till 1 am as a late start setting up and it was 40 deg c at 4pm so the setup was hard work. I was smashing cans of cider in one mouthful. Also probably didn't help the set up
But all settled in now and just had a good swim at a local pool as it's 36 deg today and everyone appreciated it!

Re: What are you doing today ??
This is the view of the camp setup. The owner of the farm is away till tomorrow but her dog has adopted us. It's a Blue Heeler and we don't know its name so the kids have given it the name 'Dusty'. Dusty slept under the trailer and decided that at 6.30am it's was time to get up and barked at our door till I yelled at him.

That doesn't sound like much fun.
I'm in work. Me and an assistant are the only two in the whole wing. Makes you wonder why they bother to open the doors, it must be costing more to have us in work.
