New 55 section rear on. Standing water and torrential rain isn't the best time to test it.

Gave the tyre a bit of a test last night, even though it was still cold and wet.

Perhaps a bit too cold and wet as the front was sliding. These are no where near the M7s in the wet. The slide was quiet relaxed with loads of warning, so no need to panic, but on a heavy bike it's not much fun. I think if I want to go fast on this bike I'll need to change my riding style, probably brake a lot earlier, slow roll into the corner then pick it up and hit the hammer. On the zx6r I like to brake late and really ride the front wheel round the corner.

The big girl didn't do too badly today. As expected for a sports tourer it's not the sharpest on the bends. I need to learn how to carry more corner speed but she tends to drift out.

At least the rear tyre is scrubbed in.

For a sports tourer Kwacky she don't half shift pal. Bloody good tool for the roads mate and bet she is a giggle to ride. Dale was saying she doesn't half pull out of corners quick 8)

Dale wasn't the only one !! Even with the torque of a twin there was no way I was going to get past it, and I was really having to work the RSV so as not to get left behind...

That bike, certainly, is no slouch..

I'm still learning to ride it. It seems best suited to dropping slowly into corners then hammering it out. I also need to get used to the gearing. You can't ride it like a 600 :D

Was well impressed with the punch of sx kwacky it looks the part too and with the extra tricks up its sleeve like the adjustable screen I can see why you got it.

There a popular bike. Can't say I noticed many till Kwacky got one and now I see quite a few on each ride, which must be proof there very good road weapons.

The SX is Kawasaki's best selling motorbike by all accounts.

It's a lot more comfortable to ride all day than the ninja or the cbr. Loads of them on the SX site moan about the seat being uncomfortable but I've told them to spend less time sitting on their arses on the sofa and more time riding the bloody things.
