Nearly new mate.
Made a few enquiries on a couple of them but the cost to change has to be right. I'm not just going to throw money at a bad deal. I m ready to swap but also patient to get the right deal.

Gave the 999 a quick clean after getting caught in a downpour on the way to the MOT station, it's had a full service and QA throttle fitted at Louigimoto.
Blimey the throttle is gong to get used to its very quick indeed !!!
Had new race air filters fitted as there was so much crap in them I was surprised there was any air getting through !!
Also put DP clutch plates put in which has solved the clutch snatching problem
Running lovely now and she looks cracking in the sunshine ! Roll on Aug 11 th

I have seen plenty of RSV4's at Silverstone TD's TBH and most have AR systems on, you can buy extra baffles for them to meet DB levels. See them at Snett too.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Well I'm still in price negotiations but things may have hit a brick wall and not on the deal, but on the insurance.
I'm mid way through an annual policy and my current insurer won't insure an RSV4.
It seems strange tbh. I'm in my forties, have had continous ownership of a 1000cc sportsbike for 12 years and have not made any claims so have 12 years NCB. I have a clean lience and the bike would be garaged at my home address with a CAT 1 alarm and immobiliser plus a sold secure chain and a ground anchor. The value of the bike was only 2k more than my current bike and they accepted the end can as a declared mod with no issues.
What more can you do ? I would have thought I would be considered relatively low risk and they have insured my Zx10r and Sp2 for the last 2 years.
May be a show stopper tbh

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Sounds silly no more risk that a zx10 ??? unless more people have had them stolen or crashed them but does not sound right as a zx10 is a lot more common.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
ZX10 has more power as well doesn't it ? Very strange they won't insure you, try someone else ?
