Bit of tinkering in the Daytona. Fitted the heat reflector matting to inside of the fairings and fixed (hopefully) the oil leak from the stator case. Removed Tankslap stickers from it (I don't want any future owner tracking me down!) and removed the battery tender leads.
Might be its last night in my garage!

Had a race through the traffic with a courier and I won. That's the same as beating a racer on the track. In my mind anyway.
Then rode home through one of the country road routes. Although it was raining I really enjoyed the ride. Those Z8s are better in the wet than I gave them credit for. There's something very rewarding about riding quickly in those sort of conditions. I guess it's all down to confidence.

Adjusted the levers and gear lever. I think a gorilla owned it before me! The only job outstanding on it is rego change and battery for the key.
And maybe an Ohlins SCU...

Came off the motorway and up the slip road towards the lights, which were on red. Filtered sweetly between both lanes and got to the front just as the lights changed
then I stalled it

Very long day today, so been in the man cave all night since I got back, replacing the pads on the S1 and the gixer.
They were not great, I think both will stop pretty well now lol....the suzuki's pads were shocking, I think I left the, way too long! Doh!

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Took Jess for a little taster ride, just on 100km with a lunch stop. Gave her my winter textiles to wear and I tried to jam a jumper on under my very form fitting track leathers. So she was toasty and I froze my arse off temps were 7-12 deg C and no heated grips in summer gloves (Jess was in my winter gloves too). Took it pretty easy so not to scare her first up and she seemed to enjoy it. Was the first time I've taken a pillion for about 20 yrs and still getting used to the bike but I was pretty impressed with how stable it was. Had some strong winds at one stage but it barely bothered the Multi.
So now we know she doesn't hate it, need to go kit her out in her own stuff and get me some leathers more suited to the road.
