WTF is up with SW merch.???

Been looking for something cool to build model-wise, but the prices are just fcukin' ludicrous! Frickin' $109 or whatever for a little X-Wing kit which doesn't even look right from the pics.
I knew the stuff was high....dealt with some of it at the Toys-4-Tots thing earlier this year. But seriously??

Think I'll do a scratch-build instead...can't be any worse off, and might just come out a bit better.

Rain..

Before I left home for work we got 6 months worth of rain in 2 days, flooded the river I have to cross to get to my place, and closed 2 of the 3 bridges I can possibly use to get across, plus got to with 500mm of closing the remaining bridge. I stayed at the girls house (she's on the city side of the river) the night before I flew out so I wouldn't get stuck.

Well I'm due home on wednesday and I've just read that the dam at the head of said river (main dam for the Sydney metro) is at 99.7% and there is a low due to hit the catchment area this weekend and forecast to spill over, which floods the river and guarantees that all 3 bridges will close. So there is a good chance I'm not going to be able to get home for a while or see my kids (ex lives on my side of the river) once I get back for a least 2-3 days.

Really hope the repairs I did to my roof work! :(

flybe
In Dusseldorf waiting for the flight to Birmingham 2 hours late and then they tell us its cancelled so they will fly us back to Southampton and will will have to get a couch back home !
Then they tell us 3 hours later we will be going to cologne and a coach is outside,150 people try and get on the couch which takes 60 ,it was bloody mahyem. Eventually we get to cologne in two coaches to be told the flight is also cancelled ,I eventually after a long winded story get home at 6 this morning ,I dont mind any flight being cancelled on safety grounds but they had no proper alternative plan and treated us like cattle,I suppose you get what you pay for but god what a day :(

had a crown fitted at the dentist 3 weeks ago and became £500 worse off,it cracked in half and crumbled today while eating a sandwich
So they get me in this afternoon quickly but tell me I have to pay for another one ! wtf :@ I couldnt believe it ,their attitude was take it or leave it and quite frankly stunk to high heaven. Surely there must be some guarantee for this type of work ? I am feeling robbed and quite angry tbh (punch)

That's taking the piss. A crown should last for years. Sounds like it was a faulty one to start with.

Have it done then refuse to pay. Make them prove its not the original one and find a new dentist.

Dental work carried out by the NHS should be guaranteed for a year according to this.

People in all areas, from all walks of life ramming their impartial view upon me about how I should do as they do and vote the same way as them in the EU referendum. So many people claiming to be impartial feel a need to preach their view point to me or attempt to persuade me to align with their opinion.

Sorry folks I'm going to make my own mind up thanks and I also respect everyone else's individual view.

I think I can count on one hand the amount of people I know who are not trying to steer me to be aligned with their opinion. It's not just the media it's seems it's 99% of people (both IN and OUT) who have a hole in their ar$e are all doing the same and forcing their opinion on others (gah)

I will be glad when the EU referendum is all over and we can just deal with whatever we have voted for.
