Wouldn’t speak to soon, the insurance decision hasn’t come back on Jane’s bike yet has it? (lol)

Its does, this new one has a little more than the last, however and I would make sure you are sitting comfortable as I have a moan :S

Ha ha you know how much I rate this bike, but today I took myself on a mystery tour, and i mean a mystery tour :D i was totally fecking lost, just riding roads I have never seen before.

Anyway to the grumble, being this long in the saddle on B minus roads, i can safely say that they have hardened up the suspension compared to my last one. The road mode on the suspension is too stiff, it all reacts really well, but feels so much harder than before.

It could be I need to get this set up for me, I did double checked the settings, just to make sure the bike was not set for two people. I will have a word when it goes in for the 1st service. With the state of the roads we ride on, it needs a softer mode for sure.
Other than no regrets (y)

Edit: In fact my recent outing on the RR had softer suspension lol

I have to admit I found the suspension on the XR a little firmer in comfort than I was expecting.

Indeed mate. modifications will be a progressive thing as I go along, saving money in the first instance, i liked the screen i put on the old bike, so this along with the engine protection and paddock bobbins fitted. I did get a new rad and oil guard, and tank pad.
End can, rear sets will remain for a bit, can will most likely stay, i cannot help myself in the down shifts to labor it a little for all the cracking and a banging LOL... great when filtering cars seem to hear me and move ha ha ha ha.

Mirror are staying, the bar end ones were nice, but I am staying as is for now. Tyres are S20's I think and seem rather good, so will see them out no doubt they wont last too long.

Tail tidy and reduced plate already on :) I think it looks 10 times better have all this up close on the back end, fitted back the standard indicators.
Levers on order, i like the dog legged shape, the standard ones always make me stretch for the clutch and brake.
I will be ordering some paint protection as well, for the tail unit and front end.
That will do for now.

Levers in and now fitted :) looking really nice.
Suspensions fettled and getting to where's I want it. Need a longer run out with my spanners at the weekend for a touch More.....but miles better than it was out the box so to speak.
