I like it all. I've got the MRI scans on disc. The radiographers report and find it very interesting.

I even got some great advice and prep talk from my 5 year old about General Anaesthetic as he had the same a few months ago for a procedure.
Very reassuring and funny at the same time

Glad it went well. You picked a good time, at least you will have Xmas to recover. I'd like to see the pics too, always interesting.

Don't think work were too chuffed but it is what it is and had to put my long term health first.
Cheers for all the well wishes everyone.

Bollocks to work, they don't own you. It's not like you're a shirker or making something up so you can stay at home. It's a knee operation, not a sore throat.

Good news it all went well but don't want you fixing to much. I need to be able to keep up.

My lad just gave me a sticker for being a brave boy.
Bless him
I was allowed to pick any I wanted from his book, but not the big ones, or hulk or ironman

Glad it went well Blade, love the fact your nipper was giving you the wise man routine.
Fingers crossed for a quick recovery, and glad you've ended up with Christmas at home.

Nice to hear it went OK Blade. Like kwacky has said, don't let work be pushing you back or anything. At end of day you work hard and for long hours, you getting Christmas off was clearly meant to be. Wnjoynthe time with your family, that's what it's all about, and plus you only get one Christmas a year and your kid won't be young forever so make the most of it now mate

Never ironman, that's his. I'd be the same. Top lad.

For those that asked for some pictures from the operation.
First two are the meniscus torn and damaged. You can clearly see a whole in it and very denegerated and frayed edges.

This is post op where you can see the damaged section cut out.

That looks sadly familiar, you did a good job on it Blade - I'm guessing you've got the "Chinese eyes" just below the kneecap then?

Been flat out and not on the forum lately Blade so missed all this!
Glad it went well mate and all the best for the recovery. Someone will be getting overcycle/overtime to cover you and there is always someone hungry enough to cover Christmas in my experience so fingers to work. Health first.
But next time you're in the bosses office use a knee pad
