Been out for a walk with a friend and started to form some plans for a biker's holiday to the IOM in late September 8)

We're saying goodbye to Fudge today. He's our 18 year old Persian. He's lost his sight in one eye, it's going in the other and he's got really bad arthritis in his mid and lower spine. He's not in any pain but his quality of life is dropping off.

He'll be missed.

sorry to hear mate, though it does seem getting to 18 he's lead a pretty full and long life!

We get all of our cats from a Persian rescue society. We won't get another car straight away but they'll be another when my wife feels ready.

Sorry to read this....as mentioned, 18 years is a pretty decent inning for a cat. :(

Going for an early morning bicycle ride in a few before the heat kicks in. 20 miles, and I will be knackered. I'm knackered just thinking about it.

Going to a friend's house to install a toilet. Normally that's about a 20-minute job.... with this guy helping it's going to be like building the Hoover Dam. (facepalm) (facepalm)

Taking Doggo to the vets and then needing to sit down for the cost of a 5 min consultation, 28 tablets and a small tube of cream.

He'll be a teenager before you know it.... wanting a driver's license, staying out all night & worrying you senseless, buying a drum kit, etc.

My son can go for his learners permit in September, but he's not interested, he's quite happy me driving him around. I've offered him a bribe if he at least sits it and passes.

He might change his tune once I'm working local and not at his beck and call 24/7
