Overnight B and B before the Yamaha Off Road day tomorrow.

Couple of beers, a good sleep, full English breakfast booked and a day on Yamahas in the private Welsh hills tomorrow. Can’t wait.

Well I fell off and caught my finger on a metal gate post and have taken the end of my little finger off.

Been to Aberystwyth A and E. They have assessed it and have to go to Stoke when I get back so they can discuss the surgery required.

Not a good day.

On way to Stoke now. It’s flesh and bone.

Doctor reckons they will want to amputate below the top knuckle if they don’t attempt to reattach.

Once in the cold light of day it does make wonder if I am getting to old for some of this shit. I could never give up bikes but maybe need to be more risk aware.

(wait) Remember Catch 22 Simon..: "happy happy happy dead, worry worry worry dead"
ie* it's pretty pointless being risk averse, if it stops you properly living your life.
