New tyres for the Multi - Z8s?
Will be looking to replace these before the France trip next month.
Anyone experience of the Metzeler Z8s?
They seem silly cheap at the moment and were the top rated tyre in their class just a couple of years ago.

I had them on the Z1000SX when we did France. They really suited the bike. I'm going back to them after the 01s
Decent mileage as well as being sportier than the other touring tyres out there. I think I got about 8,000 from mine.

They have stopped making them now so just be aware of the age of the tyre when you buy them. They are awesome tyres I've done trackdays on them on my SV650 as well as euro tours and they are great in the wet too

going Z8s assuming Addisons can get some in. £200 fitted seems good value to me.

190/55 at the rear on yours?
£30 off for the 01s and the M7RRs

Yes 190/55.
They are all doing £30 off st the moment according to Jason. But Z8s were cheapest and just fancied trying something different.

I think you'll like the Z8s. I had no issues with them last year in France and they're sportier than the PR4 or 01

No not yet though he has ordered them.

Finally got the Z8s fitted. Now just need to clean up the brake calipers and put the wheels back on.

Awesome tyres. Made the bike a little more 'flighty' due to the pointy profile but still feels safe and predictable. Need o get those elephants feet scrubbed off
