Whacked the traction control back up to maximum. Lots of icy roads this morning.

Not much today. Rode it to the barbers in the dry and rode it home in the pissing rain.

I'm sat at my desk and I can see how dark it is out there. I've got to ride home in that.

The bike is covered in road salt again. I might jet wash it on the way home.

What did you do to your bike today ??

Post by TonyB »

Just been to get it remapped ready for the weekend. I had a bit of a wait because the techs were on lunch so I asked to go for a crack on the Bobber test bike they have in Stratford. I bloody loved it. It handles a lot better than it looks and the power is really good, as is the noise the standard pipes make. If I were more impulsive I'd have one. Tank range is shit though, with its 9.5l teacup Image

That doesn't look very comfortable. Maybe that's why they only put a small tank on it, to stop your arse going numb?

That's an accessory seat. I wouldn't get that particular one, it's quite hard but fits the derrière nicely so is comfortable in a way.

I said I liked the look of them when they were first released, so I'm pretty dam jealous of your road test TB.
:^ It doesn't look like it would take much lean to be dragging those pegs/silencers.

It doesn't, according to the bloke who signed it out to me. I didn't want to try things like that on a £10k bike that I don't own tbh. Another thing I don't like about it while the seat was mentioned is that that bike has the seat in the lowest position and it can't be raised or lowered without tools. Bit shite but doesn't detract too much from my enjoyment of it. It sounds so bloody good and pulls really well. I'd have one in a few years maybe.

Empty roads on the way home so I spanked it. 32 miles in 35 minutes.

I like it 8) not an everyday bike but would make a great second bike for cruising down to the cafe on for coffee and cake (^)

Gave the bike a jet wash this morning after I fuelled up. The bike was covered in salt and grit. It looks better now. It's not the same as a proper wash but it does a job.

Mine hasn't rolled a wheel since October.

I honestly think I've forgot how to ride (swear)

That thing just looks like half a bike. Or some kind of elaborate HD toilet.

Priced up my shopping list to "finish" the Zed, to make it perfect-ish...

If I get everything I want, it's going to rid me of about £1400. (shocked)

Maybe I should rethink a couple of the mods...

Nothing! I want a ride so badly. I'm hoping to be going out with the advanced lot on Sunday to Goodwood but if weather is crappy I won't go
