Re: What are you eating ??
Last night I had a chili I had made. Mrs Kwacky thought it looked a bit runny, so added some gravy to it. It ended up tasting like spicy beef stew. I wasn't impressed

Pancakes and blueberries with fresh coffee.

Sauerkraut and bratties last night, grapefruit and then smoked salmon and scrambled eggs for breakfast this morning with fresh coffee. In serious need of some rejuvenation this morning.

Re: What are you eating ??
Had an Italian yesterday at a new restaurant in town. It was amazing it clearly had premade food items which was a bit of a let down as I was expecting it to be cooked from scratch. However the at atmosphere was excellent and the service was very good. Would we go back....not right away maybe try it in a year to see if they have moved on a bit more

Crunchy Nut. Such a tasty cereal.
Quick question for all.
You know on the side it says 1 serving is 30g...but who actually sticks to this?!!?!

It's a bowlful for me, so it's variable.
They have to give a serving weight - it's all to do with giving the usual nutritional information.

Snap!! I have actually had to come off our bowls because they are so big it must be able to fit 600 calories worth of cereal haha!! (Havent actually weighed what can fit in them but i did used to fill to the top [FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY] ). I don't get why they have have to have a serving so dam small haha!! They should at least be realistic with what people will actually have [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND SMILING EYES]

Re: What are you eating ??
It's just terminology Ross....the have absolutely no idea what sort of crockery your Mum has at her house, and a 'calorie' is just a unit of 'energy potential' or sommit like that....not weight.Rossgo wrote:Snap!! Re: What are you eating ??
I believe one reason for small portion sizes is if the fat content per serving is less than 5 grams you can market the product as low fat.
Seems mental I know but I remember the discussion being in the news.
Weirdly if you say your 1 pound block of lard (454g) has a 100 servings you can call your lard a low fat product. Fi^ked up I know

Re: What are you eating ??
Nowt wrong with fat Blade, even saturated fat is needed in the body to make testosterone, without that you'd be hairless with no Adam's apple and cry at romcoms and weddings (you'd have to change your name to Darren). It's refined sugars and refined carbs that make you flabby and diabetic.
