Yeah, that does happen with the kids
The bakery does specials all the time, so there's no knowing if they'll do these slices again.

Bangers and mash, called into the butchers on the way home from work and got some of their Q Guild specials, oh baby worth every penny.....

Wifey is doing a version of a Dad's tea as she needs to empty the freezer. I have no idea what's going to end up on the table.

I had cous Cous with tuna. Then I had a hot chocolate (proper dark chocolate flakes not the normal hot choc powered stuff) with marshmallows then to finish it off a scoop of Nutella on a tea spoon stuck in the middle...it was lush but far too much sweetness...

Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs with sourdough toast for brunch and due to Mrs Gee currently suffering from some plague or the other we had a beef stew tonight with herby dumplings. Currently sipping a pastis and water in an effort to make it seem like summer (it's not working btw).

Nothing.
Someone has volunteered me to cook them breakfast.
And that same someone has invited a few others along too.
Someone is going to be VERY disappointed.
Not me though. Tw#ts.

Roast beef with all the trimmings, we've recently changed the potatoes we buy, the roasties are even better if that's possible.

We went to Hungry Horse pub today. We had chicken wings for starters and then I had chicken New Yorker. Very good at a very good price in my opinion

Re: What are you eating ??
I was offered a pork roast for Sunday dinner yesterday, but I turned it down as I had a real hankering for sausage, egg and chips. I made the right choice, it was spot on.

Re: What are you eating ??
Chicken enchiladas, Mini Gee cooked tonight - supervised by Mrs Gee of course, he's practicing and sorting his timing for a food tech lesson at the end of the week.
The only "mistake" he made was using my birds-eye chilli flakes instead of regular chilli powder, oh my what a difference! I love that chilli hit and normally have to settle for a more sedate lift (Chilli messes with Mrs Gee tum), but the chilli flakes make it absolutely sing!
I've just licked the bowl clean for the first time in years......
