All weights went up by 5kg today.

Felt relatively strong with it too. I'm itching to get back to doing it every day but am very aware that I don't want to burn myself out. 3 days a week is just right atm. I'll keep it like that for the rest of the month. I should really be doing some cardio for the fitness test next week, but where's the fun in that?

Legs and abs.

For reasons unknown, I can press about 50kg more on the free weight leg press than I can on the leg press machine.

I think it's something to do with the angles of the machines and how they apply the force.

Back in Qatar a couple of years ago (before I buggered my shoulder) I could get over 400kg on the free weight leg press machine there.
Haven't come anywhere near that on any other machine.

Sadly.

Boxercise. My wife dragged me along, but I liked it. Good circuit training with pad work.

Up to 90kg on the 3x5 squats now. My legs have got more in them but I need to ensure that I'm keeping stable throughout, so I think the increases will start to slow down a bit from now.

Shoulder press up to 47.5kg, may leave it at that next time to make sure I'm taking my legs totally out of the equation and not use them as a boost.

Deadlift reached the 3 figure mark for 5 reps. No straps and I think my grip is coming along, but it was only one set so it's hard to say. The lift felt strong though, easily more in the tank there, it's just my small girlish hands are the limiting factor!

I have to use straps over 100kg. I feel like I'm cheating but as much as I've tried 100kg seems to be my hands limit

That's been my experience in the past. I'm doing what I can to improve it.

5 mile trail run tonight, through the woods in the dark. Fecking good fun.

It's a bit uncomfortable this morning, but only to be expected. Rather than mud last night the ground was frozen solid, lots complained of rolled ankles.

Will see how bad it is in about 40 mins when I start cycling to work.

I survived sparring last night although I did start to lose my rag with one of the blokes (same dickhead everyone has issues with). I ended up raining series of punches and kicks on him until he was boxed into the court of the room. Being the nice chap I am I walked away, at which point he punched me in the back of the head. He's such a twat.
