Yeah they do but there still all different as are the on the day conditions.

It's interesting but hardly factual. It's not a controlled testing environment just a bit of fun imo.

Yeah, I'm not the brightest spark but even I can work out that a Daytona 675 is going to be a far superior weapon on the track than a speed triple.

I really do need to do some test rides. All of the bikes I'm interested in I've not ridden, so it's too much of a gamble to buy blindly.

I think I've narrowed it down to the latest versions of the 1050 Speed Triple R and the 800 Brutale. I want a naked bike and I like triples. Both have good road pedigree and get excellent reviews. The Triumph will be bigger and heavier but that didn't bother me when I had my old 1050, it certainly didn't seem to slow me down. I like the looks of the Brutale and I've never had an MV before.

Those are the two bikes I'm doing daily online searches for to see if there are any bargains to be had.

I like the looks and the sounds of the Street RS and the new Fireblade. But I'm happy to wait. Both are brand new bikes so I suspect there will be a waiting list and there certainly won't be any discounts available. Real life reviews will be important for both and I don't want to wait weeks for a new bike only to find out it's not reliable or it's crap to ride.

Yep, it's very tempting at that price.

Fingers crossed it's the beginning of price drops for the 1050 as the 800 street gains interest.

Those red accents are horrendous. I'm sure it's a nice bike but it would annoy me if I saw it in my driveway.

Bargains to be had on the outgoing Blade which is an amazing bike.

Seen £1500 dealer contribution on offer. I reckon you could haggle and get a brand new 17 plate MY16 Blade for £10k which in an era where litre sportsbikes start at £15k that is a bargain.
