Star Wars - Han Solo film

Alden Ehrenreich will play the young Han Solo in the film whish is set before Episode 4 - A New Hope

It will be directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller.

Donald Glover, as the young Lando Calrissian. Emilia Clarke (mother of dragons fame) and Woody Harrelson are also in it.

No date yet for when filming starts.

I think these spin offs have the potential to be better than the main story line. Delving into the grimier/seedier/ darker places of the galaxy.

Anyway...I think D6 has a point. With the other flicks they've always had to stick to a fairly set storyline...albeit with certain variations when certain actors decide to get in a car wreck, etc.
With standalone movies they can do whatever the fcuk they want....a live action version of 'Rebels' would be kinda cool too.
