Personally what I have seen of the Grand Tour I love! I think they have a lot more freedom now and can make the show how they want it. It's not really a factual program it's a entertainment program and if you treat it as such then I think it ticks all the boxes. I suppose Fifth Gear will be out at some point and I personally find that pretty boring because they do more facts and there's very little entertainment (enjoyment factor - which I do agree differs from person to person) in my opinion. We have so many shows now whether that be on telly, on YouTube or online TV Apps like Amazon these makers have to nail their target audience and in fairness the Grand Tour is doing that, they always felt a bit restrained in Top Gear especially when you went to see them live at their shows you could always tell they could give a little more and when they did they had to hold back a bit but in the whole scheme of things I think it was always about entertainment which they excel in, in my opinion!

Some epically bad Euro metal concert where all the heavy metal invalids from the 80s get to strut their stuff for (hopefully) one last time..
It's pushing the envelope of mediocrity into uncharted territory.

Just read a news article (well if you can call it that) about a contestant being kicked out if Come Dine With Me mid way through a episode. Am I sad that I really want to watch the episodes now!?!!

Looks interesting. reading the reviews made me recall Triplex for some reason...

Me too. It felt a little "rushed along" at times, but I still enjoyed it & the way the back story is being developed.
