It was spectacular work. It was a freezer in that room and there were living statues in the different rooms just sitting there waiting for people to walk by and they would move their arm towards you or something...they must of been chapping!!

Re: What are you doing today ??
Finally got to to go Orienteering at Thetford, had a great day marching all over the forest with my family and tried my hand at some very rusty navigation, even the coffee afterwards was great!
All was going well until we encountered 2016's very last attempt at screwing up our lives - a puncture. Front left tyre was flat as a pancake and there was a recently vacated hole bang in the middle of the tread. However it's an ill wind that blows no good at all and I can now state categorically that every tyre factor for a 20 mile radius of Thetford at 16.30 on a New Years Eve is shut tight and don't answer their phones.
We got home using the space saver, but it's just another thing to deal with in the New Year when everywhere gets started again, I'm just glad we didn't have a long journey planned tomorrow, just a lunch at MiL's.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Packed up camp and headed home. Just got in at 11.30pm. Had to cut a day short as there were massive thunderstorms forecast. So spent all day packing up while the kids and Jess went to a local pool. Started to come down as I was loaded the last few things in, so good timing! Kids were a bit annoyed it was cut short till it bucketed down as we drove off.
This is a 256 km rain radar and the white circle is where we were... And that was just this evenings storm. All tomorrow is forecast for thunderstorms and an inch of rain.

Just back home after a long week or so of the kids with us for few days, Christmas with a load of family and then my parents and some good friends.
All with a fast growing puppy (who's not bad really, but is now stronger and more demanding) but we are really tired now.
Still - i do have beer

Today well be taking the kids to soft play so I can have an easy afternoon.
Hopefully will be in when parcelfarce deliver my BT TV box, then plan to take down the Christmas decorations, put then back in the loft and run a new aerial cable for the BT box.
Looking forward to getting back to work tomorrow for a rest!

Paperwork, admin, catchup with life today. Get rid of the Xmas decorations then off to the park for the Pup's first walk in the park today and see what he thinks of the sea.
