A 1.5L bottle of Nero D'Avola from Lidl, surprisingly good as well.

Gotta decided which one of these bad boys to crack into first!

The Apostole Mate is from Argentina and the Napue is from Findland. Had to order them through a UK liquor merchant and then pay $80.00 duty and taxes once they arrived. The Botantist and Hendricks were duty free coming home from work.

I had a skinful of gin lastnight in a bar that was primarily a gin club in Warwick lastnight. The barman knew his stuff too. I usually just have lime or cucumber with the drink that I make at home, but he did a few variations: fresh ginger, vanilla paste and orange. Not in the same drink but in different types of gin. I will be going back there...

I was on the dark ales last night, various milds, porter and stout. A salty caramel mild was my favourite

Shared a bottle of hot Glühwein with FiL while we were decorating our Christmas tree this afternoon, very nice - but about 25°C too warm in our lounge to enjoy it at its best.

Just like the TV I'm showing a repeat tonight, Hortus gin, Schweppes tonic and at twist of orange peel.
Pretty good too.

That's my annual wine treat for myself.

Nice mix of wines. For the first time I've bought a rosé and I've spent £30 on a red, but what the heck, it's the holidays.

Segla is expensive. Some of the older bottles cost a fortune.

Is the one on the right a Pinot? - i swear i've had one of those before.

Don't drink it all before Wednesday :D

I might put the Segla to one side. It's certainly a wine that'l improve with age.

A couple of pints of Brains "kin ell" at lunch time, a rather good Italian Garda champagne a like, with lunch.
Just debating whether or not to walk to the pub or open a Faustino V11
