Made a huge Rocky Road! I was tasting it straight from the bowl looking forward to a big chunk of that later

Had an early conference call with a client and our barrister.
"You're looking at 2 years in prison. We'll speak in the new year. Happy Christmas"

I've got half a day left so I'm taking it this afternoon. I'll try and finish my Christmas shopping.

Taking the boy up town to collect a pair of kevlar jeans I had tailored to take out 2 inches of the 9 inch leg width. Ridiculous! He likes to go on the bus, which is fine, I can have a hot Tote Tante off the tiny German market in Cov town

Today I have had a massive relaxing day at work!! Went on the forklift at 0630 this morning and I didn't return to my department until 0830!! Had nice chats with a few people and one person for almost 1.5hours!! Didn't actually start real work until around 0945 this morning then had my break at 10!! Christmas is settling in at the moment in our company

A client wants us to do a massive management information exercise on all of our cases over a certain value, just in case there might be a change in the percentage rate we apply to future losses.
This isn't a ball ache at all.
And to top it off, we can't charge them for it as it's an admin task.

Sitting in A&E with Deany.
She rang me this afternoon to tell me she had "had a little accident". It turns out she's snapped her finger. We've just seen the Xray, & I have to say that she's made a pretty good job of it.
Waiting for the orthopedic consultant to come to see her now, as it's apparently beyond the scope of the A&E staff.

Ouch. That sent a shiver down my spine. Hope she heals quick and isn't in too much pain. How did it happen?

As for feeling queasy, it was quite unnerving when I first saw it waggling round loose.

Buy a dishwasher StM - think of it as a domestic harmony investment.
Sorry to hear about Deany's accident - made me feel a bit queasy reading it tbh, wishing her a speedy recovery from all of us here.

Owww! Hope Deany isnt feeling too blue.
St Marks, I feel your Christmas Day pain, I'm hosting Jess and her kids, her parents, her sister and associated hubby and kid. Plus my two ratbags. My plan is to stay well lubricated.
Deany should be in for a good Christmas, feet up on a cocktail of pain meds and wine

Spent all day at the hospital, whilst various consultants & surgeons have been playing "Pass the Patient".Rossgo wrote:Ouch StMarks that's not good and not at a good time through Christmas either! Heal up soon to her
At 3.30pm she sent me home rather than hang around with her any longer & they had finally said that she was due to have to go under the knife around 4pm.
Just nicely got home (about 45 mins) & fed the dog when she called to say that her operation had been re-scheduled for tomorrow.!!
Anyway, here's a revealing pic of my little Deany, to keep you all amused.:
