Re: Kwacky's biking plans
They've gone up in price over the last 3 years. £10k now is the typical price for a 600cc, which to be honest is taking the piss. I dread to think what the R6 will be, £12k?

Re: Kwacky's biking plans
What reason is there for doing that..? The bike is no different, they've made no updates...

Re: Kwacky's biking plans
Vehicle prices appear to have gone up generally regardless of the £
I was looking at cars the other night in case my wife wanted to replace hers. Even the former budget brands are charging silly money for standard family cars.

Re: Kwacky's biking plans
Everything will go up in price, I reckon about 30-40% by the time we've effected our separation from the European Union.
That would be based on the undermining of our currency so far, and how much less purchase power it has.
Thereafter will be the real test, IMO.

Now that looks to me just like it should be Kwacky's bike. Almost spot on IMHO.Monty wrote:How about this one, little bit cheaper and it's got 800 quids worth of can on it.

That tail tidy is over £100, so there's at least a grands worth of extras on it. Just needs levers and some rear sets.Kwacky wrote:That;'s a good price. Those rear cowls are over £100.

Re: Kwacky's biking plans
I have the OEM Daytatool alarm on my bike, and it still works perfectly (from '06). However I would never bother with one these days, as I firmly believe that a decent alarmed disclock is actually far better option for numerous reasons.Kwacky wrote:and an alarm.

Re: Kwacky's biking plans
I would prefer not to have one at all, but my Insurers think otherwise. I think on my next bike I'll be more tempted to have a tracker than an alarm.

Re: Kwacky's biking plans
The fact that is has covered only 450 miles, and it's being sold by "the UK's largest Royal Enfield dealer" may be telling.? -Some "reborn" has treated themself, scared themself witless, & traded a (brand new bike) in for the nearest thing to the ones that were around when he last rode a bike.
So, are you going to get it this afternoon Kwacky, or waiting till tomorrow.?
