After dealing with my brothers antics all day, we (my sis, Mrs Gee, Mini Gee and myself) took ourselves off and watched Dr Strange in 3D, then went for a meal at a decent restaurant. Now nursing a food baby but am calm again.

I'm at an inter club charity taekwondo event with my lad. My wife is with our daughter at a dancing event.

Watched my 7 yr old daughter totally smash her first stage singing effort. There was a group of 4 of them and had solo parts in a song as well as all singing the chorus. One of the girls choked and my daughter jumped in and sang her part as well (under the music teachers guidance).

Very proud dad day.

This is one of my son's fights. The ref pretends to adjust his belt but in fact they're having a chat - the lad he's up against hasn't been in a competition before.

My son didn't grab all the glory yesterday. My daughter was at a dance comp all weekend with her dance group. They grabbed 3 gold and 2 silvers. One of the dance routines was awarded 90 out of 100, which is only the second time in 23 years this judge has awarded a 90. My wife said that they all just clicked and it went really smoothly.

As a parent it's a real joy to see my daughter, who only a couple of years ago was really struggling with confidence and self esteem, blossom in the way she has.

I'm immensely proud of both of them.

My boss is out so I'm doing some online bike shopping, just to see what's out there and what the prices are like on new bikes with newer models coming in. Best bargain so far is a brand new 2016 plate (but last year's model) Speed Triple for £7,300.

Not many offers or deals on at present. I'm in no rush so I'll hang on to see if there's anything doing in the new year.
