Life is bitter, life is sweet.
A school mate of mine was supposed to get married tomorrow to his long term girlfriend and mother to his second child. His eldest son is in his teens. He's got physical and mental issues, but my mate has always stuck by him and done whatever he can to make his life better, like saving up to take him to the US to not only watch the wrestling but to meet a couple of big names in the business.
They flew out to Jamaica for the wedding, spending a few days relaxing with family and friends before the big day. Andy had saved up for a couple of years, doing extra hours in his own business as well as taking on other jobs to make sure the wedding was special.
He's got family out there, so being the family man he is he tied in the wedding with a niece's birthday which they all celebrated yesterday.
Last night he suffered a massive heart attack and passed away.
I'm gutted.

it'll be definitely be a 2 day funeral and wake. Shame we have to catch up with our friends at funerals. Me and Andy had been talking about a get together when he got back to the UK.

Its when these sorts of things happen that it brings home that you should always take the first opportunity to do what you want to do when that opportunity arises as nobody can predict what tomorrow might bring - good or bad.

Re: Life is bitter, life is sweet.
My Sis and I were working at my recently deceased Mums house yesterday morning, we got back to mine to the news that one of her best friends had a massive heart attack Saturday night back up in Lincolnshire, she's critically ill in intensive care and family have been called for, she's only 59yrs old. My Sis left our house mid afternoon heading directly to the bedside of her friend.
Kwacky I feel for you and for your mates family - I know what they're going through, condolences from our family. D.

Re: Life is bitter, life is sweet.
Had notification that he's back in the UK. His funeral is on the 25th November. Typical Andy, as it's a Friday all us old mates will book the day off and have a catch up over a few beers.
