Pasta carbonara for dinner, currently enjoying a packet of Cola Cubes - a taste of my childhood.

Lamb kofta box from a chain called Leon. I've never seen good arrive so quickly, it makes McDonald's look slow and it tasted sooooooo much nicer

Re: What are you eating ??
Mini Gee and myself tried a New Mexican restaurant for lunch today, I had a chicken, red pepper and retried beans chimichanga with dirty rice and he had beef, refried beans and lime pickled red onion tacos followed by Churros served with a caramel dulcé de leche sace and cinnamon ice cream, both meals pretty spot on imho. Definitely going back there again.

I made a big pot of French Onion soup this evening and then ate a fair bit of it as well, it's going to be a Johnny Fartpants kind of day tomorrow I think. Parp!!

Step dad's birthday. He didn't want anything fancy so we went to a local pub. Decent pub fare and massive servings.
The cakes are made there and are massive. The eclairs are 12 inches long. This is a standard slice of cake

Roast pork with lovely crunchy crackling and a fresh fruit salad for dessert.

Re: What are you eating ??
A Sunday fry up.
Got some Lincolnshire sausages from the local butcher, and despite all odds managed to convince the boy that they were so much nicer than the cook from frozen Richmond shite he likes from the supermarket, enough for him to try and actually eat and enjoy.
No complaints. He even ate the ends, and he NEVER does that!
Local butchers FTW!

Theme park food, which consisted of a large steak pasty, ice cream and donuts. I'm a slob, I know.

Re: What are you eating ??
After this delight I popped a Naproxen tablet, my back has been playing up and the doc suggested these.Itchy wrote:A Sunday fry up.

Topped off with a chocolate sponge and custard.
About 0120hrs the warning from the doc AND the pharmacist about the Naproxen's ability to affect the stomach made a sudden resurgence in my head.
Bad times when you've had a fry up to comfortably feed 2!

Re: What are you eating ??
Hey Itchy, I remember recently you mentioned worrying about food repeating on you, so I'm guessing you have a bit of reflux/heartburn. If that is the case you do really have to be careful or avoid anti immflatories like neurophen, voltaren and naproxen. Only saying as I have major issues with GORD and dyspepsia. Like drops me to the ground in pain. I'm on nexium 40 full time to combat it and my doc and specialist have both told me to avoid them if possible.

Re: What are you eating ??
Cheers for the heads up.
I've managed to not poop at all today, even with the Naproxen at breakfast, so it may have been a dodgy egg with the fry up that caused last night's brown laser!
Which is a lovely thought for anyone coming to this thread to read about food!!!
