Mini Gee has the lurgy, so we're making a beef stew full of veg, plenty of vitamins to stoke up our immune systems and calories to keep our fires burning hot n bright. Feeding the cold is so much more fun than starving a fever.

Went to Debenhams cafe for a lunch with my partner when we was in town. I was surprised by the prices I was expecting it to be bloody pricy but actually it wasn't at all. We had a lovely flat bread filled with cooked chicken and salad with a side of potato wedges that we shared and it nicely filled us up.

Steak, chips and salad.

The Asian cooks really don't know how to cook a steak but since becoming a single dad I really appreciate not having to cook and just dumping dishes for someone else to wash, so no complaints here!!

Pork chops with cider, cream and mustard sauce, with roasties cabbage and carrots on the side.

I had to finish the cider otherwise it'd have gone to waste......
