Similar idiocy to the guy that filmed and then posted himself binning his bike near the Cat & Fiddle not so long ago, they think it's a huge laugh until the Plod gets involved.

I've used the Go Pro when doing "slightly" above the limit. I've always been aware that if anything were to go wrong then I'm in the shit. I even got to the point were I would memorise which buttons to press to format the memory card should I get pulled over.

I've not used it for a long time now.

Cameras have their place, especially in today's society, but if you're having heavy wrist fun time on the throttle then you takes yer chances!!!

Goes both ways I suppose......there was a lass a few years ago on the 405 got hit by a car. The driver swore up & down she was in the wrong...so did witnesses...perhaps unaware of the lane-splitting laws??

Either way, the camera footage proved her to be in the right, and the lad, having some unpaid tickets, suspension, etc....ended up doing jail time. Six months, if memory serves.

I got caught doing 104mph in a 30mph zone by the police. I did it the day before I sold my bike and picked up my new one.

I was caught because I put the video on social media... too fast for points and fine so straight to court. Fortunately they dropped it and I got away with it but the lesson was learned
