Re: Farage
The only person to whom i would actually want to say - 'Go back to where you came from'.
But then he has been saying that to others all his life.

Re: Farage
I suppose we could consider this as the one good thing to have resulted from the referendum vote.?

Re: Farage
Caroline Lucas said it best.
"Farage’s legacy is toxic and unforgivable. He has used his position to whip up hatred against migrants and divert attention from the real challenges this country is facing. During the referendum campaign he did the unimaginable by sinking to new lows. He will be remembered for that disgusting poster, and for using the suffering of refugees for his own political gain.
“Sadly we don’t live in a post-Farage Britain because he lives on through the capitulation of other politicians when it comes to migration. He began a race to the bottom on the issue – and many other politicians sadly followed suit. The biggest Establishment stitch-up in a generation has been blaming migrants for all of the problems we face – and Farage was the front man for this unforgivable campaign. It’s now down to all of us to rebuild a post-referendum Britain – starting with making plain our commitment to a multicultural society committed to healing divisions, rather than stoking the flames of fear.”

Re: Farage
Slightly off subject but I voted to leave and I'm not a racist nor was immigration the sole or even main reason for me voting to leave the EU.
Regards the poster with refugees and Farage, aren't these NON EU Syrian refugees ? If so leaving the EU makes no difference anyway regards NON EU immigrants.
For what its worth I know alot of people who voted out but I do not know any racists and if I did I wouldn't class them as friends.
My personal opinion is we as a country have a responsibility to the Syrian refugees as our governments interference in the middle east and it's politics is in part to blame for the crisis and civil war these people are suffering the horror off.
Not meant as argumentative but please for clarity don't see all Leave voters as rasicist.

Re: Farage
Re Farage : This is someone who went to school with him and was in the same class.
Farage was a nasty piece of work at school, he was anti Semitic, racist and a holocaust denier, his claim was that it wasn't nearly as bad as people make out. He supported the National Front and would frequently be heard singing racist and anti Semitic songs associated with the NF and SS

Re: Farage
Not for a moment in defence of his overall politics, but he has a point regarding The Holocaust....at least in terms of anti-Semitism. There were NOT 6-7 million Jews murdered....the figures of deceased are fairly accurate...to a certain degree.duke63 wrote:Re Farage : This is someone who went to school with him and was in the same class.

But these were not just Jews....homosexuals, critics, mentally ill, etc.....all were subject to er..."re-location" (to Heaven). The US jewish Lobby worked hard to obfuscate these figures in their favour. The US, UK, etc.....none had a great resume in regard to treatment of the Jewish Nation during that period.

Re: Farage
Duuno to be honest. Not sure how I would feel working for an organisation I hated. It's a piss take to say the EU takes our money and then to take money from the EU.

Re: Farage
Hmmmm....
1...Take money from someone I like....someone I like has less money....I'd be a fecktard of a friend.
2...Take money from someone I don't like....LOL...Feck that guy!! AND...they have less money to spend on doing dis-likeable things.
Win/win.

Farage is still a dick and will always be a dick. Has he found that spare £350 million per week yet?
