Re: What are you eating ??
Megan is at college tonight so I just did a dad dinner. Sausage, chips and beans with bread and butter. To wash it down, tea.

Re: What are you eating ??
Got some beef mince left over, so I'm making a keema and pea balti for later on in the week.

Re: What are you eating ??
On a hungry day today, had double portions of lasagne, two oranges, a packet of beef & onion crisps and 4 chocolate buns.
That was all for dinner this evening, must have a cold fermenting...

Spicy roast veggies with sausages, Cajun style. Lovely, even though I made it myself.

Re: What are you eating ??
It's dad dinner night every night at mine! Joys of single parenting. I do struggle to mix it up but it's not helped by having an autistic 10 yr old and a picky 7 yr old. I refuse to cook different meals for everyone so slowly introducing new meals and seeing what works. My daughter doesn't like anything crumbed or hot chips but loves butter chicken, so when I do the weekly butter chicken meal I keep a portition for her aside so me and Byron can have our naughty fry ups on the weekend.Kwacky wrote:seeing as it's dad dinner night I'm doing my own beef burgers.

Chicken salad. As I was eating it someone on twitter posted a photo of a big fat chip buttie. I wasn't jealous in the slightest.

Bugger the kids I didn't want to set the tableKwacky wrote:My kids used to love having a picnic in the living room.
Nah, school holidays, a rare Friday night that I have them (usually see their mum Friday nights, but I collared this one since I lost 4 days with my Perth trip) so a bit of relaxing the rules was in order.

Re: What are you eating ??
for me it meant not having to cook. Plate up a load of stuff and leave them to it.

Re: What are you eating ??
It was kids choice meal, so other than my daughters banana on toast the rest was oven fried, simple cooking.
