Nope, not just you. We usually have stews and braised meats in the colder months and we make it, leave it to cool and stick it in the fridge for the next day and it tastes better reheated. Chilli too

Herbs and spices do much better over a day or two. I have done a jerked chicken dish of Jamie Oliver's a couple of times that take 2 days from prep to cooking. Fookin' delicious!

Mrs Gee's roast pork with A1 rated crackling and all the trimmings, then mini Gee's choice of steamed sponge pudding with golden syrup and custard for dessert. There's also some Red Leicester and some decent Stilton gently waking up to our late summer warmth ready for later on - when our stomachs have dealt with mr piggy and his friends sufficiently that is.

Had a lovely homemade chicken dinner with homemade blackberry pie and ice cream for pudding. Probably more effective at lifting your manflu depressed spirits then any drugs or medicines

Was dinner last night but cooked curried sausages, mash and peas &a beans for six. My biggest win was timing serve up perfectly to the end of the movie the kids were watching.

Everything. I'm in full fat mode. Had a bag of Brisith beef jerky, then some raisins, followed by some salted peanuts. Now eyeing up an apple.
