Agreed.
Also, the fact he won a race gave him the confidence he needed. He is clearly good enough to win a race if he is on the MotoGP grid but without confidence everyone is nothing.

He's always had the talent but I've questioned his mentality. "Bin it or win it" isn't the right approach for MotoGP.

He's not getting all the wins but he's taking home good points. He let himself down a little at Silverstone but still had a good haul of points. He is making Rossi work for it and he's made Lorenzo bottle it. Rossi will make history if he wins (no one has won a championship with 3 DNFs) and I really believe Marquez has this in the bag - it's his to lose.
