Fixer, were you heading Northbound on the M5 yesterday morning? Saw a Multi in Red.. headlights were blinding even from the other carriageway!!

That's a shame - could have said I'd 'met' you! haha..

I've been making myself some rearset adapter plates for the bike; I just hope my measurements were correct !!!

Well it wasn't too much of a pain in the arse to fit except when the pump o ring hadn't sealed properly and it was pissing fuel everywhere.

Looks great! They look much better in race trim imho, never took to the under and over lights in road trim.

Took it to test the engine bars were fitted ok. The engine dropped a couple of mm when i removed the engine bolt even though it was ( i thought) chocked properly underneath.

Seems fine and what was supposed to be a half hour test became and an hour and half ride. :D

Thanks for the comments guys, one small problem though the rear subframe now has small crack in it where the seat bolts on, so that is the next thing on the list to do I managed to get a gloss black one on fleabay !,

Someone on TDR was selling a near new set of Oxford tank bag and tail pack with the rainproof covers for £40 plus postage. I wasn't really after any luggage but at that price I couldn't turn it down.

Put all the old stuff off the 999 on fleabay , there's a lot of interest in the mirrors as their clad in CF, apparently if they are Ducati carbon they are quite rare ?
