Unbelievable. Fantastic racing in MotoGP. That's the only one I've caught up so far.

Re: What a day of MotoGP!
Iannone ran a great race and to finish where he did with those tyres was nothing short of heroic

Re: What a day of MotoGP!
Iannone finished 8th (?!) with a tyre that resembled a newbie p0rnstar after a bukkake party (makeup falling off her face)
Absolutely stonking race and a great result - did not see that coming!
What a result for the championship too, very please with MM's performance but once again with his (until now main competitor) really struggling in the rain - I think JL is out of contention now

Re: What a day of MotoGP!
Dovi retired with Front tyre issues. Effected a few riders yesterday but seemed much worse on Factory Ducati bikes. Suggest the wings which are the most elaborate on the factory Ducati bikes generated too much downforce and load on the front Michelin wet.duke63 wrote:Iannone's tyre at the end of the race.

Re: What a day of MotoGP!
Imagine the vibration through the bike as you tip into a corner with that as your front tyre.

Re: What a day of MotoGP!
There'd be a vibration in my intestinal tract. And not in a good way.
BUT!!!! Is that not how it is supposed to be (in racing, not my tummy)???
I mean......the engines don't last long, none of the equipment does. Isn't the old axiom of racing "If you're not breaking stuff, you're not going hard enough" or something like that??
I remember in MTB racing burning through 3 frames in just one season...the CF would just start to crack all over the place.....eventually they sent a frame that came "factory pre-cracked" and I just had to switch brands entirely to some aluminium POS.....but it didn't break, and we figured that CF just wasn't where it needed to be yet.....or if it will ever get there.
I'm kinda surprised this sort of thing doesn't happen more often, TBH.....or it prolly does in testing and they just go with what they have as there's no other option available/time to change equipment, etc.
