Re: 2017 Yamaha R6?
That's nice but I know it will still be too tall for me with my short legs!!

Rossgo don't let ride height put you off any bike mate. Any decent supension work shop will be able to professionally lower a bike and retain good quality supension.

Re: 2017 Yamaha R6?
Rossgo, I have tiny legs but I can still ride my ZX6R with a 60 profile rear tyre and 5mm shim in the back. Seat height will have increased by over 30mm (825mm standard??) and I'm fine. Just slide off the seat a little and have one foot on the ground (and don't skip leg day)

Re: 2017 Yamaha R6?
I like that a lot.
The tail-tidy and rear pegs would have to go, but other than that I can't fault it...looks great.
I'd put rim tape on it.

Well bang goes my cut & dried idea of a sports tourer being my next bike. That's easier on the eye than the Olympic Beach Volleyball.
Kind of.
Kind of.

Agree with Perkles and Blade, looks an awesome track tool and very reminiscent of the R7, also has one of my favourite paint schemes - the speed ladder, that in yellow/black would be hardcore bike porn.

Re: 2017 Yamaha R6?
It's hard to fault the look of that. I always liked the asymmetric look of a side exhaust. Looks a bit stodgy by today's standards, but the view out the front will still be good. And fleeting.
