Well I ordered a Tsubaki chain and renthal sprockets.

I got a renthal chain and renthal sprockets.

I was a bit pissed off until I found out that the renthal chain is £25 more. It's the R4 SRS

They get really good reviews from what I've read online.

They're pre-stretched so hopefully this one will last longer

Those 94s are last year's bike so they've not got the 2016 updates.

Where's D6 when you need him.
Changing nappies i'd imagine. Notice he's not been around much since the birth :D
Lol. Still catching up on many posts.

I can let you know the changes on s3 if required. Quite a few.

New one has slipper clutch. Electronic throttle. Banking traction control,/braking thingy. Can have quick shifter. Might be standard on r can't remember. Gear position indicator. Various engine tweaks.

Depends on power output and how you ride but 20k is good mileage imo.

However your Renthal SRS should comfortably outlast an oem chain in similar conditions.

I was told that a while ago, which is why I avoided them. Kwak Brum recommended this one. I'll be having words with them when I next see them.

I haven't tried Renthal chains but heard good things about the SRS. I'm trying the Afam one on your recommendation at the moment.

Now I've decided to keep it I reckon I should bling it up a little 8)

The suspension needs looking at. I think I'll replace the front springs and oil. Not sure what to do with the rear as it's very basic but not sure it warrants an aftermarket shock.

Speak to some specialists and see what your options are. Wilbers and Nitron are good value rear shocks.

Why do you suggest springs at the front are you having trouble setting the sag ?

Wilbers is good kit but I won't be using Revs in the West Midlands to buy from. They've picked up a bad reputation recently.

For the bikes usage I reckon the cheapest Nitron Shock would work as they can build it to your spec. I don't think they have separate compression and rebound adjustment just a single adjuster for both but they get excellent reviews and I think if you are not happy they adjust it until you are.
