Re: What are you eating ??
Odd that you ask that....I have no idea why, but there's quite a few commonalities between certain Mexican foodstuffs and British items. The Hispanic store chains use the same supplier that Tesco used to use when they had their chain open here (briefly)....sommit like that. I think.
Only place to buy HP, etc.

A welcome pint of ice cold cider in an ice cold glass. Not strictly speaking eating, but hey, it's made out of apples.....

Cobra????
That just HAS to be different from the Cobra they sell here.....I hope???
The stuff here is one of the cheapest and worst malt liquors you can buy - which is saying something......it's a very 'black' thing.....only really sold in poor neighborhoods, etc.
It's not nice.
It has a very er....'pungent' aroma.
It tastes like rubbing alcohol mixed with paint stripper, etc.

An omelet the size of Catalina Island, and a small veal chop. just to add balance.

Re: What are you eating ??
Carpaccio Aberdeen Angus beef fillet sandwich with horseradish and smoked chicken and veg soup, followed by a pot of coffee and some homemade shortbread and 'tablet', basically crumbly Scottish fudge.
