Better get saving, especially if you intend on eating while you're there!

Yep, I know it's not going to be cheap, but it's going to be an experience for us all.

I take it you've been?

No not yet, I've just been watching the currency markets. It's always been expensive for us, but the pound has dropped 30% against the yen over the last 12 months.

It's on my bucket list though, would love to go. Very jealous!

the pound and the yen have been difficult to track. My mate said it was over 200Y when he moved there. He reckons anything over 150 is good.

I'm not jealous....much. It's definitely on my list of places to see before I die. I'm waiting until my boy is older before going to places like that. Looking forward to seeing some pics of your trip if you decide to put some up. Enjoy

Don't mention Hirosh....nevermind.

Defo do some research on the place....there's normal bars & restaurants, which will cost a fortune, then touristy ones, which are a LOT less....I believe catering mainly to Russians...I think?? Maybe the other way round. Oh, and there's 30 million people who live there!!

Kinda sucks....if my passport hadn't been delayed I'd have been in Sarf Africa right now. It's somewhere I'd like to see + I have family there.
Maybe another time

That's the way to do it with any foreign visit, I think....a hotel is a hotel. Seeing how the people live day-to-day is the real experience.
