Yup, and 1111, 1234 and last 4 numbers on the VIN.

Oh well, chance to take Jess for a spin (her day off tomorrow) and if she handles it to the service centre, can come back the long way through the Blue Mountains.

She's been on a bike once, about 10 yrs ago.

Late to this thread!! A belated happy new bike day!! Sounds like a bit of hassle when you first picked her up with her bot turning over but least you found out what it was in the end!!
Have you had much Time on her yet?

Nah not much time yet Rossgo. The ride home was just under 100 km and then out a few days later with Jess for about another 100 km. But then it became school hols and I have the kids full time so no chance till my next break now. But at least I have a bike there when I get the chance now!! Next break the kids will be back in school so daytime blasts will be pretty easy. And I live in the hills behind Sydney so plenty of good roads close.
