Portimao track is in the middle of nowhere. Nice resorts close by though.

We stayed in Lagos when we watched WSBK there a few years ago, so did a lot of the race teams.

The track isn't far from the resorts when we went a few years ago but it is out on its own.

I went on holiday to alvor two years ago when wsb was on all the teams were out on the lash and I met Tom Sykes and his pit crew.Nice down to earth people,the old town is really nice and the food is top notch.We went on a zoo excursion and drove past the track ,it didnt seem to far out of the way

My mate said it's about 15 to 20 minutes by taxi from the track to Alvor.
