Re: wet leathers
Happened to me in Dainese one piece first time I rode in it may years ago. As others said I let it dry out slowly and no adverse effects or damage to the suit.

Wait til the weather is dry and then go for a ride on the longest piece of motorway at the fastest speed possible.

Re: wet leathers
I don't know why Perkles posted this. One of my earliest biking memories is sat at a set of traffic lights about a mile from home, having set out a few minutes before in glorious sunshine, now soaked to the skin telling Perkles I wasn't going out riding with him again as it always rained when we went out.

Re: wet leathers
That's a pretty good idea as long as they don't dry too quickly. Maybe get some sort of leather conditioner for after if you don't have some already?duke63 wrote:Stuff them full of newspaper and stick them in the airing cupboard overnight.Perkles wrote:my leathers are still wet through from Tuesday FFS !

Re: wet leathers
Yep....'leather softener' or whatever for car upholstery after they're dry. Or even just for regular use 'til they soften up....really made a huge difference on my admittedly lower grade suit. Worked even better on my Triumph two-piece, which was actually quite nice cowhide.
And my thong.
