kingfixer wrote:They are just the cheap stuff from China on flea bay, the quality is very good though. After I got the original order I asked if he could make one without headlight holes and he said yes so I ordered one, it's a different shade of red but I know someone who can get over that. It will do for Silverstone next week.
The shock is GP7 bought it off someone breaking their track bike.

Can you remember which supplier it was, Mick? I was looking for the 748 yesterday and there are quite a few different suppliers.

this is the guy I bought mine off, I got all the fixings and a screen as well for £370, they are not 100% perfect but for the money you cant complain.
On mine there are some tiny marks where the plastic must have come out of the mould that's all

Gave it a decent wash and top up with ACF50 yesterday. Spent a lot of time cleaning and lubing the chain and making sure it was spotless.

This morning rode into work. It's amazing how much difference a well maintained chain makes to the noise and response when you ride.

Went fully comp this year and upped the annual mileage ,all in including track day cover £400.00 not bad but another unexpected big bill this month
I plan to do quite a bit of riding over the next 3 months so glad its all sorted now

Surprised you didn't get anything from the cops using those fixed anpr cameras - don't they send letters to those who scan without insurance? Could have got messy!

Fecking Loud !!! the guy I bought it off didn't have anything done to his, but most say it will need a ECU reflash. Only took it out for about 30 mins last night and it felt fine though a lot of popping etc on the overrun.

Weather forecast said dry this morning,.

10 minutes into my ride I've pulled off the road and am sheltering under a covered walkway in front of shops, sat on my bike putting the rain collar on my jacket and tucking my gloves into my sleeves. The heavens really did open.

Left it at home. Forecast looks crap and the roads were clear this morning so I took the easy option.
