800cc Street Triple

Should be a great tool for the roads.

The survey listed other changes including the addition of three riding modes (five for the ‘RS’ model, including a track mode), and a new TFT colour display. It suggested the RT would be optionally available in half-faired, sports-tourer form. Sounds like the old Sprint RS

They could be on to a winner for the 4 different variants. The RT bike would make a cracking tool for touring.

The 800 Tiger is a great bike. The Street I imagine will handle even better. 800cc keeps the insurance costs down. Good move by triumph.

That'll be test ridden by me when it comes out for sure - ideal bike if its not too expensive....

Current Tiger 800 is around £9,700. Street 675 is below £8k so I reckon we're looking at the £9k mark.

The Kwacky Z800 is below £8k so it can't be much more than that, it needs to be competitively priced.

Can't remember where I read it but I believe it's 765cc and the extra capacity will come from an increase in both bore and stroke.

Ugly though it is the MT10 is about 10k with 160hp too. Plenty of choice at that level. Not sure i want a triumph though.. I'll have to test one as I've not ridden any of the current model triumphs.

I guess much depends on how close your nearest Trumpet dealer is.

I would have one if I didn't have to subject it to the British weather.
