Should be a great tool for the roads.
The survey listed other changes including the addition of three riding modes (five for the ‘RS’ model, including a track mode), and a new TFT colour display. It suggested the RT would be optionally available in half-faired, sports-tourer form. Sounds like the old Sprint RS

They could be on to a winner for the 4 different variants. The RT bike would make a cracking tool for touring.

Re: 800cc Street Triple
The 800 Tiger is a great bike. The Street I imagine will handle even better. 800cc keeps the insurance costs down. Good move by triumph.

Re: 800cc Street Triple
Current Tiger 800 is around £9,700. Street 675 is below £8k so I reckon we're looking at the £9k mark.
The Kwacky Z800 is below £8k so it can't be much more than that, it needs to be competitively priced.

Can't remember where I read it but I believe it's 765cc and the extra capacity will come from an increase in both bore and stroke.

Re: 800cc Street Triple
Ugly though it is the MT10 is about 10k with 160hp too. Plenty of choice at that level. Not sure i want a triumph though.. I'll have to test one as I've not ridden any of the current model triumphs.Kwacky wrote:Current Tiger 800 is around £9,700. Street 675 is below £8k so I reckon we're looking at the £9k mark.

I guess much depends on how close your nearest Trumpet dealer is.
I would have one if I didn't have to subject it to the British weather.
