Positive steps taken to get more ladies on two wheels or a marketing campaign to take money from lady hipsters?

The optimist in me hopes the drive is to encourage more female riders
“Then we came up with the idea of just putting a post out on our feed to say ‘if anyone fancies a go at riding, get in touch’, and then it opened a bit of a floodgate. We didn’t realise how many girls wanted to ride motorbikes but didn’t know how to start.”
but there definitely is a business model behind it, not that it's a bad thing at all as ideology rarely pays the bills on its own. The founder of the VC seems to have a genuine bike riding bent.

I just hope the clothing line keeps the perspective that it's safety gear first and foremost, not a fashion parade. By all means make it more appealing to women but ensure it still does it's job. The ripped jeans and exposed knee in the last pic doesn't really cut it in that regard!

All credit to them, the more lasses keen on bikes makes it collectively easier for the male population to indulge in their passion too!
Happiness is not a destination. It is a way of life.

Does the middle one need a wee?

I'm all for encouraging anyone, with a foo-foo or a winky, to take up biking.
But yes, it does seem to smack a little of self-advertising.
Harrison had the idea because people were asking her why there weren’t more clothes for female bikers
Really?
