The 2nd pair are not Axial Pro Perks and even they are £210 the Axial Pro are £265 in your link and that's £30 more than I paid in a UK store.

Personally I would shop around in the UK and look for a deal. Not sure if sales pitch or not but when I bought mine I was told in the Dainese store they wouldn't accept any return for warranty (admittedly unlikely) if purchased outside of uk.

I really like the Axial Pro and are by the best boots I've owned.

I have had 2 pairs of TCX and really rate them also if your looking at other stuff. There a little bit cheaper than Alpinestars but similar spec and quality.

Just ordered these bad boys https://www.motocard.com/en/boots/daine ... black.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Went into streetbike and asked if they price match before I try a pair on and they said yes,so tried on a 42 and 43 ,42 was quite tight to get on but the 43 felt slightly loose once on so went for the smaller size. They fitted nicely around my calfs and dont feel like they would fall off like all my other boots,I think they will stretch a bit with use.Told the young lady I could get them for £311 delivered and they said the best they could do was £360.00 so I went on my way :)
A bloke was just picking up his R1M and I have to say the quality of the bike looked spot on ,the alloy tank is gorgeous ;) (h)

I assume they would only match UK stores Andy ?

Good boot but they are hand made in very limited numbers so never any real over stock which makes getting deals difficult.

I was honest and told them it was an internet deal but they didnt seem to interested in selling them to me tbh,I told her what I wanted from a boot IE a good fit around my calfs and she didnt offer any other alternatives that were on show. Didnt realise they were handmade that sounds good, the way they do up is very nice. Cant wait to get them, hope the turn up in time for mallory 8)

Perks they are hand made quality and once you try them on you won't want any other boot imo. The fit and quality speak for themselves and good protection is invaluable.

Sounds like you got a good deal then Perkles going through the net instead of the shop. I too have a problem with trying to get the prefect size for my feet! The struggle is real!!

T.C. wrote:If you read the next edition of South East Bike Magazine which will be available in about 4 weeks, I explain why as a result of case studies, experience and development that I am involved in, you do not really want leathers over the top of boots on the road.

Fine on track, not a good idea for road riding for a whole number of reasons.
I don't have access to the magazine TC but would be very interested to hear your comments.

I m surprised they don't fair well on the road as quite alot of TT riders use the Dainese Axial Pro IN boot and they travel at much great speeds with greater risks of serious injury than us mortal road riders.

The most noticeable TT rider to user the Dainese Axial Pro IN boot is Hutchy as he doesn't wear Dainese leathers and uses RST leathers instead, therefore I assume he specifically selects the Dainese IN boot fir its protection. You would have thought out of all riders at the TT Hutchy had the most interest in keeping his lower leg save :?

I've worn mine all day in Wales Perks and they are extremely comfy on and off the bike. Think of them as armour plated slippers.

Good boot, hope you like them.

Very nice. Dainese kit is not cheap but it does feel a premium product when I compare to my 2 other suits which are both good quality Alpinestars suit.

A good fitting, quality suit is a good investment in your safety imo.
