Funny you should say that.

On a serious note my vitiligo is really kicking in on my face so I do have to be careful.

Bag all packed. The rucksack isn't full. The toiletries and the medical kit are in the us10 which I've attached to the rear seat, Blade style.

Only thing I've not decided on is whether i take spare gloves and visor. I'll make my mind up tomorrow when I see what the weather is doing.

Thank you everyone for your help, it's appreciated.

Now I've got to learn how to live for a week with just one pair of trainers, no shoes and no boots for when I'm not on the bike.

You need waterproof gloves mate.

If you get wet gloves it could ruin the trip. If you don't have space for spares take some of the latex surgeons gloves to wear under your summer gloves if it rains.

I'm leaving straight after work so I'm all packed.

I've got the dark visor on and wore my goretex gloves this morning. The tinted visor is in the bag and the summer gloves are in the bag for the waterproof oversuit. Good job I had those gloves on this moroning, heavy showers on the ride in.

I've packed the camera as well so hopefully I'll get some footage of the trip.

I'm just looking through everyone's advice here and it is great, love the idea of having old undies and then just throwing them away as you go. Great idea.

Kwacky have a Fab trip please take some pics for us [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

Thanks Rossgo. I'm really looking forward to it. I'm in need of a break, so what better way to spend it than with friends on our bikes?

There will be loads of photos posted when I get back :)

Don't mean this distastefully after kingfixers post but have a great time Kwacky and Duke. Euro trips imo are truly epic and to be savoured as these are the good times we will remember in later years.

Stays safe and stay fast 8) enjoy the good times guys (lol)

Thanks everyone. 10 minutes before I can leave my desk and start getting sorted. I'm meeting Duke at Warwick and we're traveling down tonight to Salisbury. I couldn't get on the same ferry so he's going from Portsmouth and I've got the slower ferry out of Poole.
