Been catching up with a few films i was given.

Man of Steel - Very good imo. I want to see the batman v superman now.
The latest mission impossible - OK but the motorbike chase scene is one of the best I've seen - clever. A little unreal at times but clever.

Inside out. A kids film but I reckon the adults got more out of it.

I loved the scene where they deploy 'putting the foot down' (lol)

It's a very original film in a lot of ways, loved the "putting the foot down" part as well, but also resonated with the losing chunks of happy memories bits.

Mrs Gee and I watched "Rush" for the first time last night - the Hunt v Lauda film by Ron Howard, was one of the best films I've seen for a long time, real edge of the seat stuff and very much as I remember that time - the summer I left school and started work. 8)

We've had the film for a while but never got round to watching it, it'll bear another watching in a few months time as well.

Captain America: Civil War with the family.

Loved the film but what a shit experience.

People talking behind us, kids in front arseing about, and to top it all off my own son not sitting still, not being quiet, standing up, making his chair squeak in the quiet bits, feet up on the seats in front and not listening once when told to pack it in.

At this moment in time I never want to go again!

I will, obviously, but not until the memory of this visit has faded somewhat!

Two french fighter jets (Rafale) directly overhead at 100-200ft i guess. Awesome sight and sound. We get quite a few over here as it clearly a training area for low level flight, but these are the closest yet.

Satellite Broadband and other bits stopped working for 5 mins too - i wonder what gizmos they were using.

I'd love to have been a fighter pilot. What a job!

Up to series 3 of Red Dwarf with my eldest, forgotten how funny it was. We met Holly (Norman Lovatt) the other weekend, cracking bloke and we got him to say "They're dead Dave, everybody's dead Dave"
