Firstly I'm fine thanks guys.
I tucked the front at the bottom of the mountain. Very stupid.!
It would have been about the last lap of the session anyway, and I was just starting to get back into the swing of things at last.
Out of the chicane WOT, up a gear, WOT, brake & down a gear, drop it hard left for the apex. Just as my left knee started to feel touchdown the front seemed to jump away from me & off we spun.!
This was literally right in front of the Marshall's post, and he reliably informed me that my front let go. (facepalm)
The TDO called an early lunch, so the next session who were in the collection area waiting to go out missed out due to my carelessness. :(

Damage consisted of:
Nosecone smashed
Fuel tank dented
Ignition key broke off in the ignition
Front subframe obliterated
Instruments broken off
Front brake fluid reservoir broken off
Rear seat cowl broken
Gear change lever folded back on itself
Front mudguard cracked across
Left shoulder rather sore (landed pretty hard on that)
Various other bits & bobs.

LOL, I think my shoulder is past it's sell by date Kwacky, & will never be "back to it's best". At least my collar bone held up. :)

The forks looked straight, & seemed ok in the afternoon sessions.

Fair do's you must bounce! Kudos on getting it back out there! What sort of state was it in when you went back out? I wondered the other day at what point they wouldn't let you out again?
