Ordered some new paddock stand bobbins for the SX.

The ones I've got cover the rear axle, which is great for normal use but a real PITA when I want to adjust the chain, as I have to remove both of them and do the chain adjustment on the side stand.

May be you would Monty and I respect that. All I can say is what I have been saying as it actually happened and yesterday on the roads we rode I had to work my bike to the limit of its performance to stay with another bike of greater performance riding at the same pace.

Not sure why people don't believe me and it's not worth batting about tbh. I was just trying to make a statement that imo sportsbike development has moved on. Simple as that tbh.

Let's have a great day and move on (lol)

Took her for a spin out with the new plugs and air filter and she felt really sharp. Not as sunny as last few days and noticeably cooler but still good fun in the twisties and the TEN makes warp speed effortless (lol)

Took the long way home. Couldn't believe that my hands were cold. Summer gloves should be worn this time of year.

Good ride home though, the SX handles surpisingly well for a big girl.

Yes it was cold today. I went out in summer kit and came home after 3 hours mainly as I was too cold that and too many idiots out on Friday 13th to warrant risking it any longer. Lost count of the amount of crazy moves that could have wiped me out if I wasn't riding so defensively.
Derbyshire was full of idiot drivers, blind drivers, people who clearly shouldn't even be described as drivers and suicidal magpies today.

Took the Multi to JHP in Coventry for a service. Got to leave it with them for a few days as they are changing the fuel sender too.

Had to catch the bus into Coventry and train home from there...which turned into quite an entertaining journey as when i sat down on the Coventry train there were 3 very attractive girls sat opposite dressed to kill.
My guess is they were either on their way to Spearmint Rhino or were doing promo work somewhere in Brum. One of the blonde girls decided she wanted to changed clothes. She was only wearing a basque top and tight jeans anyway but gets her case down and opens it to choose something else. The case was full of sequins and tight skimpy clothes but she pulls out an orange Mosschino bra top and trousers and proceeds to change in front of me, half way obscured by the toilets but she wouldn't shut the door. Her mate tells her the orange top and orange trousers are too much together so she should wear a black top.

Next minute the orange top gets thrown onto the seat and then she appears wearing the black bra top.

It was without doubt the most entertaining train journey I have ever been on. :D

I had to take some sneaky photos, just could not resist. :D

Changed the oil and filter on the 748 this afternoon.

Looked at the oil at bought yesterday and realised i had got the wrong one. Quick drive down to get some of the right stuff. 300v 15.50 Motul Factory line. Bloody expensive stuff.

Nice to see though that the recommended oil capacity is 3.5litres and once it was topped up to the max line there was 0.5l left in the 4 litre bottle.
