Are you visiting any other parts of France whilst you're over there mate,?

I'm going to check over my bike, ready for Cadwell tomorrow evening.

Then I'm starting to lay the cobbles that form the floor of my little barn.
(And "No" ; it still does't have any Polish people or exotic dancers in it, before you ask again).

The kids are in the garden having a water fight. I rather stupidly went out to make sure they're playing nicely.

I'm now watching motogp, in a wet T-shirt.

Went for a rideout around Northants and Leicestershire. Getting a proper feel for the suspension and taking mental notes because I'm taking the bike to RJS Superbikes tomorrow at Mallory Park to get setup properly.

This was/is on today...

http://www.bike4lifefest.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The finishing point was at the RAF museum at Cosford, which is a 10-15 minute walk from where I live, so me and the family went out to watch the bikes enter after their initial ride out.

(clap)

Wow.

We were sat there by the roadside for at least 40 minutes, every conceivable kind of motorcycle went past, from scooters to quads, trikes to race reps, sidecars to choppers, trail bikes to hearses (yep, a motorcycle hearse), old, new, shiny, scraped, bikes bikes bikes! There were so many going past that when they stopped moving for a second I felt queasy!

Last year's event saw apparently 5000 bikes, I can certainly picture it!

Of all the days to leave my phone in the house!!! (gah)

I didn't go to the actual event, the kids were hot and tired and we had to go and lay flowers on my wife's late father's grave, but judging from the amount of bikes it will have raised an inordinate amount for the Air Ambulance. (y)

Yep....know that feeling all too well!!

The "Don't sit down, you won't be here that long" comment from the ex only confirmed matters.

What's done is done...I'm not about reliving the past, 'cos there's nothing I can do about it...you learn and you move on.
